The convention center is located along the Allegheny River, in the heart of downtown Pittsburgh's cultural, business, and entertainment district.  From numerous vantage points throughout the facility, large floor to ceiling picture windows reveal stunning views of the river and the city's beautiful architecture.  The abundance of natural daylight yields a refreshing environment for meetings and special events and creates an open and airy feeling.  The Center is the first and largest certified "green" convention center in the world and is the only meeting venue to be awarded the Gold LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) designation by the U.S. Green Building Council. Meeting Room Assignments

Specific meeting room assignments will be posted as we get closer to the conference.  Please plan to wear comfortable shoes so that you can easily walk throughout the designated space.  While we will make every effort to keep the meeting space comfortable, please also plan to dress in layers so that you are prepared in case the temperature is not to your liking.

Accessibility

Escalators, elevators, and stairs are available to transition between floors and to enter or exit the Center.  The building is also completely handicapped accessible.

Hotel Information

Surrounded by a multitude of hotels, restaurants, and nightlife, the Center is the perfect location for M2010.  The headquarters hotel for M2010, the Westin Convention Center Hotel, is connected by skywalk to the Center.  Other conference hotels are within a 5-block radius and comfortable walking distance.
